Douglas Castro é uma mente criativa e inquieta, além criar todos os sons dançantes e pesados vindos da bateria do Black Drawing Chalks, ele possui um estúdio de ilustrações junto com o vocalista Victor Rocha e o amigo Renato Reno, chamado de Bicicleta sem Freio.
o estúdio é o principal responsável por todas as peças de comunicação da banda, e de muitas outras. Com muita criatividade e desenhos incrivéis, estão marcando forte presença por todos os lugares que passam.

Douglas Castro is a creative mind and restless, and create all the  dancing and heavy duty sounds coming from the drums of Black Drawing Chalks, he has a graphics studio with singer Victor Rocha and friend Renato  Reno, called Bicicleta sem Freio.
The studio is responsible for all band´s design, and many others.  Lots of creativity and amazing designs everywhere they go.

Denis Dec um cara que se define como "...Um humano, arquiteto, roqueiro, satisfeito e sistemático. varios em um só corpo, um contexto muda tudo, mas nunca o carater...", e sentando a lenha no seu baixo ele cria linhas sonoras incríveis, destacando seu instrumento nas composições da banda.
Com suas incríveis estripulias no palco, Denis cria passos exóticos e sensuais com suas reluzentes botas vermelhas e a cabeleira viva que parece ser o quinto elemento da banda. segundo Douglas "...no palco, Denis nem precisa de corda no balxo, só ele já é show..."

Denis Dec is a guy who defines himself as "... A human, architect, rocker, satisfied and systematic. Several in one body, a context changes everything, but the character never ..." and punching him your bass, he creates lines incredible sounds, highlighting his instrument in the band's songwriting.
With its incredible presence on stage, Denis creates steps exotic and sexy with her shiny red boots and lived hair, that seems to be the fifth element of the band. According to Douglas” ... onstage Denis either need to string in bass, he is the show ... "

A ideia de formar a banda surgiu na faculdade de Design Gráfico. Victor Rocha e Douglas Castro fazem parte do estúdio Bicicleta sem Freio (...) e decidiram chamar Denis de Castro, irmão de Douglas (...), para fundar o Black Drawing Chalks.(...) O nome da banda, que significa "carvões pretos para desenhar", vem de uma marca alemã de material para desenho, influência constante na vida dos garotos.
